Super Breaky Biscuits by Nutra Organics

Not everyone has time for beaky....Lets face it - getting out the door with breakfast is a miracle some days. Well, here is your time efficient, super nutritious, super yummy, family friendly answer! Super Greens Reds breaky biscuits! Enjoy...

Ingredients: 

1 cup The Wholefood Pantry Coconut Chips (you could also use oats or quinoa flakes - 1 cup)

1/4 cup The Wholefood Pantry Desiccated Coconut 

1/3 cup The Wholefood Pantry Coconut Oil (melted)  

1/3 cup The Wholefood Pantry Brown Rice Syrup 

1 level tsp cinnamon

2 tbsp Super Greens Reds powder

1 free range egg 

1 tbsp Clean Protein or Thriving Protein (vanilla)

1/2 cup dried fruit of your choice - raisins, muscatels, apricots, cranberries, sultanas

1/3 cup seeds - The Wholefood Pantry Sunflower Kernels, Pepetis and Linseeds  

Some sesame seeds

Method: 

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. 

Set aside some seeds for the top of the biscuits (about 1 tbsp). 

If you are using coconut chips - pop into a food processor or blender for a few seconds to bring them down to the size of oats. Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and work the mixture together. It may take 5 min - just keep stirring until sticky. 

Place spoon full of mixture on a lined baking tray and press down a little. You can make big ones, say for your hubby or smaller ones for the kids!

Sprinkle some seeds on top and pop into the oven. 

Start checking at 15 min depending on size can take up to 30-40 mins

Makes 6-8 large cookies or 12 smaller ones.
